About Love INC
Founded in 1977, Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) brings Christian churches together, across denominational lines, to help the poor with immediate needs such as food and clothing, to longer-term responses through relational ministries such as transitional housing programs and life skills training.
Love INC has more than 150 affiliates in 30 states, representing a network of over 9,000 churches, 6,000 community-based organizations, and nearly 300,000 volunteers meeting more than 1 million needs each year. Through the love of caring Christians, Love INC is accomplishing comprehensive, collaborative, powerful ministry that is uniting churches, changing lives, and transforming communities.
Funds raised through The Sound Off for Poverty support the work of Love INC affiliates in meeting the needs of the poor in their local communities, and help develop new Love INC affiliates across the country so that more people in need can be helped, in the name of Christ.
